InterCulture Space @ Man Lap Fong opened

On the occasion of its first anniversary, InterCulture opened a second space in Man Lap Fong shopping mall on the Ersha island on May 4. "InterCulture Space@Man Lap Fong" is a joint venture by InterCulture and Man Lap Fong Group, as a space of cultural exchange with distinguished live performances.

For the opening, the space was refurbished in elegant tones of blue, white and orange. In addition to the music, guests were also treated with exquisite drinks and snacks prepared by two German chefs Sven and Meini. The staircase leading toward the space was decorated with past performances organized by InterCulture, and many guests took photos there.

The opening concert was given by Guangzhou Soul Project. Founded by "swinging diplomat" Martin Fleischer, the band is well known for its fusion of soul, jazz-rock and even classical music. The arrangement "Roll over Beethoven", an unconventional medley of themes from symphonies and sonatas by Beethoven with a rhythm & blues classic and swing-jazz improvisations, captivated the audience immediately and received long applause.

The after-party turned into a perfect time for networking. While enjoying prosecco, "aperol spritz", German beer and delicious snacks at the bar, guests chatted with old friends and got to know new friends, it seemed that nobody wanted to leave.

In the future, "InterCulture Space@Man Lap Fong" will regularly host high-quality music, dance, drama and other forms of performing arts. We hope to do this together with many interesting and inspiring people. If you have ideas, suggestions or projects, please contact us!
