Taste of Happiness: Clash of Ideas in Foods

On Saturday evening, the 21st August, 2021, a special cooking event took place in the InterCulture Space, called Agile CookingAgile Cooking is a related event of the exhibition Water, What? which was held by the Austrian Cultural Forum and InterCulture. Although Cooking is a daily routine for most people, by organizing this event, InterCulture managed to turn the cooking process into a practice of a project management model, and to change the art space into a space of delicacy.

Firstly, the guests were divided into two teams and assigned to different roles. They discussed and decided the dishes that could meet the requirements of the opposite team. Within the limited time, the two teams successfully made their menu of varied dishes, such as Crayfish Salad, Spaghetti and Poached Sliced Beef Fusion, Chocolate Lava Ice Cream, Tomato Braised Chicken, and Chinese Cabbage Meatball Soup etc. Throughout the process of meal preparation and cooking, the guests were fully engaged and most importantly, exchanged ideas and cooperated with each other.

Agile Cooking allowed guests to clarify the responsibilities of each person, meet the needs of the customer, and execute their dinner proposal efficiently through agile teamwork. The guests were thus able to learn and put into practice the Agile principles in a fun and relaxing way.
