German Christmas Market 2021
GermHolding a glass of mulled wine and enjoying the grilled German sausage with families and friends under the Christmas tree is the simplest and most traditional romance of German Christmas. This weekend, we brought this romance from Europe to Guangzhou.

The 2021 German Christmas Market, jointly launched by InterCulture and the German Consulate in Guangzhou, was successfully held in InterCulture Space of Huangpu Ancient Port on the afternoon of December 19. The sponsors Trolli, Paulaner, Wawi, Rainers The Sausage Factory, Bäckerei Angermeier, these famous German brands brought their delicacies to the Christmas Market. In addition, The German roast sausage and Turkish kebab that can be found everywhere in Berlin were popular with everyone. All revenue from the sales will go to charity.
At 5 p.m., accompanied by cheerful Christmas carols, Santa Claus and his assistant stepped into this small world with bells. Smiling guests lined up to take pictures with Santa Claus.

Many foreign guests said that the decoration and atmosphere of the German Christmas market were very authentic, which made them feel the warmth of Christmas to their hometown and made up for the regret that they could not go home for the festival because of the pandemic.

This is the first German Christmas market in Guangzhou. Hope the pandemic will be over by next year. We look forward to getting together again Christmas 2022!
