InterCulture Space: A contemperary Space located in a historical Building
InterCulture Space is located in Huangpu Ancient Port, not far from the center of Guangzhou. It was once China's only international trade port from the mid-1700s to the mid-1800s. The Hu's Ancestral Hall where InterCulture Space is in has a history of more than 400 years.
InterCulture is an independent space. It cooperates with European and Chinese cultural exchange institutions, foundations and enterprises, embassies and consulates, and regularly holds cultural exchange activities such as thinkers residency, happiness kitchen, interdisciplinary lab and contemporary art exhibitions.
InterCulture space comprises two exhibition rooms, courtyards and a residency apartment with kitchen.
The spacious main hall and the beautiful esplanade on front of the building can be used too for larger events.
